Making a booking

If you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

1. To make a booking, please contact us by email to check availability and receive booking forms.

2. We will email you booking forms for completion. We also need your

• Full name and nationality as in passport
• Passport number

3. 10% non refundable deposit to confirm your reservation. When sending you the booking forms, we will also send you further information about how to make your deposit.

Payment options include:

1. Deposit into an Australian bank account (best option for Australian clients)

2. Western Union wire

3. PayPal deposit (easy and online)

Please note that there are costs involved in both making international bank transfers or a Western Union transfer - in both cases the costs will be paid by the client NOT Safari Salama

• Please note that this 10% downpayment is NON-REFUNDABLE as described in the Conditions of booking. We suggest you take out travel insurance.

4. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your tour via email.

5. 60 days prior to departure

You should pay the balance of your booking in full 60 days prior to departure. Failure to pay (or organise an alternative with Safari Salama) will result in loss of your place and non refundable deposit.

6. Departure.

Please bring cash in a mix of Euros and USD for the local payment and your community chest contribution.

Booking conditions

1. Safari Salama accept no responsibility whatsoever for cases of force majeure (unexpected or uncontrollable events) (according to law) or for passengers actions.

2. On registering for the tour, passengers accept the General Booking Conditions and Payment Method, as well as the norms, rules and guarantees of Safari Salama described in this document.
3. Safari Salama cannot absolutely guarantee participants safety. We cannot be held responsible for personal injury or for client's belongings, equipment lost or damaged.
4. Safari Salama reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to client unsuitability because of age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication etc.
5. Any missed tours due to the above listed incidences (eg weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or recuperated.
6. Safari Salama reserves the right to cancel the passenger's place on a tour if they have not paid the total sum of the tour 60 days prior to departure.

7.Safari Salama reserves the right to work with other agencies if on certain dates they do not have enough people for a group departure.

8. In the case where damages are caused to third parties, all the expenses claimed from Safari Salama that originate from the above-mentioned incident will be charged to the client, who will have no right to later claims.
10. When a passenger cancels their trip, the refund shall be according to the decision taken by Safari Salama, according to the General Booking Conditions.
11. Terms of booking for treks.

10% non refundable deposit on booking.

If you cancel in this period, your deposit will be retained.

Full payment is required 60 days prior to departure.

Cancellation 40 - 59 days prior to departure - we will retain 30% of the total tour price.

Cancellation 20 - 39 days prior to departure - we will retain 60% of the total tour price.

Cancellation 1- 19 days prior to departure - we will retain 90% of the total tour price.

If you withdraw from the tour after departure we will retain all of the tour price.

12. Your deposit payment is deemed to be confirmation that the Client has read and accepts the General Booking Conditions.

Insurance

1. We insist that all clients take out a travel or medical insurance policy in their home countries.
2. Passengers have responsibility to ensure that their travel or medical insurance policy covers the activity or sport in which they are participating. You may be required to show us a certificate of this insurance policy prior to commencement of the trip.
